The Older Toddler program serves children who are 2 years old by September 1st with a teacher to child ratio of 1:5

Older Toddler Goals

  • Build self-esteem through increased personal responsibility
  • Foster creativity through art, music, and dance
  • Increase gross motor skills through active indoor and outdoor play and dancing.
  • Develop fine motor skills through finger play, art, and rhythmic movement
  • Begin number recognition and basic math skills
  • Build knowledge of shapes, colors, texture, etc., through songs, stories, counting, sorting, sequencing, and art
  • Increase vocabulary (Hebrew and English) through books, flannel board & magnet board stories and games, rhymes, songs, and instructional circle time activities
  • Learn and live Judaism through active participation in blessings, Havdalah, Shabbat, the observance of Jewish holidays
  • Foster love for Torah and God.
