GIN BLOSSOMS:
Currently touring in celebration of the 25th anniversary release of their breakthrough album “New Miserable Experience”, the Gin Blossoms will release a new album later this year.
THE BIG WU:
The Big Wu made a mark on the jam band scene with a reputation for hook-oriented songwriting and as one of the earliest jam bands from the Midwest to achieve national success.
THE COMMON GROUND COMPANY:
The Common Ground Company’s unique blend of Bluegrass, Americana, and Folk has been dazzling the Twin Cities since the fall of 2015. Led by Steph Snow’s powerful vocals and piano, Jorgen Wadkins (guitar), Pete Whitemen (bass), Zach Tauer (banjo), and Jake Rohde (mandolin) blend their acoustic instruments to create a driving, dynamic soundscape.
AMANDA AND BEREK AWEND:
Amanda and Berek Awend pushed boundaries with their first album, ‘Jewish Americana.’ Their combination of Americana music and Jewish prayers will be followed by a brand new album later this summer. Backed up in the studio and for the Common Sound Festival are The Champions, a Minnesota Funk group made famous by their instrumental jazz-funk explorations or all out parties complete with horns, vocalists and DJs.
