Swimming Lessons

Each Wednesday, the children in the Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindercamp programs are bussed to the Minneapolis Jewish Community Center for professional instructor taught swimming lessons. Children spend 20 minutes in swimming class and 20 minutes in wading-pool free-play. Red Cross certified life guards are in the pools at all times and Aleph School staff are stationed around the pool perimeter.

Field Trips

No summer is complete without field trips! Aleph School offers both in-house and venture-out field trips. In-house field trips such as —- are for all Aleph School campers, while venture-out field trips such as Kenwood Gymnastics, are for Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindercamp kids only. The cost of the field trips is included in your camp tuition.

All-School BBQ and All-School “Undernight”

In the true spirit of Am Yisrael (one community), all Aleph School campers come together once a session for an all-school BBQ and an all-school “undernight” (basically a Parent’s Night Out). Both events involve a picnic on the playground (weather permitting) and a bit of free-play. The “undernight” includes an additional short program (magician/storyteller.)
